Our adventure began when we saw the need for a world where we honor the intrinsic vitalness of every animal person. By redefining how we look at animal research and bringing an inclusive approach to our science and activities, we're creating a new way of understanding, characterizing and relating to animals so they too, can live full and meaningful lives.
We respect wild animals as individuals with their own needs and preferences, rather than seeing them as mere parts of ecosystems. But this approach demands a richer understanding of wild animals’ lives. We want to take a proactive approach to managing the welfare benefits, threats, and uncertainties that are inherent to complex natural and urban environments.
World Wildlife Day is an opportunity to celebrate the many beautiful and varied forms of wild fauna and flora and to raise awareness of the multitude of benefits that their conservation provides to people.
By taking a One Health perspective, we believe we can impact the wellness of animals, the people who care for them and the planet.One Health is a collaborative, multisectoral, and transdisciplinary approach — working at the local, regional, national, and global levels — with the goal of achieving optimal health outcomes recognizing the interconnection between people, animals, plants, and their shared environment.
We would love to work with school students, they are the future generation. Our world is changing rapidly and to keep pace with these changes, we have to prepare our next generation to be ready to take on any challenges the biodiversity conservation throws at them in the coming years.
